Memorial Day - Each May on the National Holiday. Ceremonies are held in the Amphitheater, the same location and time as Veterans Day. In 2008 the ceremonies will be held on Monday, May 26, 2008. Musical prelude starts at 10:30 am. West Coast Thunder, Harley Owners Group, will arrive at the cemetery around 10 am, traffic will be congested during their arrival. Please take this into consideration when planning your arrival at Riverside National Cemetery.

Veterans Day - Tuesday, November 11, 2008. Follow signs to the Amphitheater from main entrance. 10:30 am musical prelude, 11 am ceremony begins.

Concert For Heroes - Next scheduled for Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the Amphitheater.
This summer includes a patriotic flair at the Riverside National Cemetery’s annual Concert for Heroes. This annual concert began in 2001 and is the only symphonic concert held in a National Cemetery. The Inland Empire/Riverside Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Patrick Flynn, will perform a program of patriotic and popular classics including the Light Calvary Overture and Tchaikovsky’s March Slav and concludes with John Phillip Sousa’s immortal Stars and Stripes Forever. A brief ceremony remembring and honoring Prisoners Of War and those still Misssing in Action (POW/MIA) will be included. The program should conclude by 9:30 p.m.
