TREE OF REMEMBRANCE
This project was started by our friend Mr. David Goldware in 1995 through the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce as a Community fundraising program. The proceeds were used to purchase trees and landscape materials to beautify and maintain the National Cemetery at a high level of dignity and honor! The Cemetery Support Committee is proud to continue the Tree of Remembrance program dedicating all proceeds to beautification and the construction of Memorials that honor the service and sacrifice of our Veterans.
For a minimum donation of $50.00 (to a maximum of $1,000,000 or more) we will inscribe a term of endearment, in Loving Memory of... or in Honor of a loved one or organization, onto a replica maple leaf and mount it on the Tree of Remembrance wall at the RNC Administration building.
The lead time to process a Leaf request and install it on the Tree will be approximately 5 weeks after we receive your request form.
After Installation you will receive a letter from the Cemetery Support Committee, within approx 2 weeks, acknowledging the date and location of your Leaf on the Tree of Remembrance.
You can contact the committee chair, Mary Spangler (951-784-6288) or her daughter Cindy Allen (treetracer1@charter.net)
**The Tree of Remembrance provides every person who is cognizant of their freedoms and liberties a way of being a part of the National Cemetery and commemorating anyone who has helped make the freedoms and liberties possible.
